Grading Policy The RRISD Kindergarten Report Card is a standards-based continuum, meaning that progress is reported on the knowledge and skills your child is expected to master at each grade level. The continuum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and ranges from Performance Level 1 to Performance Level 4. Performance Level 1: Exhibits skill/concept with direct guidance/assistance. Performance Level 2: Exhibits skill/concept with minimal guidance and increasing frequency. Performance Level 3: Exhibits mastery of grade level skill/concept consistently. Performance Level 4: Exhibits understanding beyond grade level expectations.
